Batman Funko Pop!

March 6 - i entered a contest from Watchtower Database, a fansite that continues the Timm-verse DCAU. ^^

March 15 - i won the contest! based on the YouTube comments and #BattyForLegacies tweets, there were probably only about 30 (at most 50?) entries, but still, yay! :D

March 29 - i just received the package with my Batman: The Animated Series Funko Pop! <3 tbh i've never been a huge fan of Funko Pops (they're cute and available for many fandoms, but the level of detail is inconsistent or lacking...), but this BTAS Pop Batman is adorably ready to fight, and i love him. Happy Birthday, T-ville!

On Saturday, we stopped by the Sears parking lot for the Strawberry Festival, which had stands for strawberries, of course, and strawberry-filled baked goods, plus fresh produce, jewelry, accessories, clothes, cosmetics, and antiques, a few food trucks, and best of all, a pirate ship!
We bought a couple of small jars of local wildflower raw honey (hopefully it'll help with my allergies ><) and a mineral stone pendant with a peacock charm for M's birthday. ^^

And speaking of birthdays, today we went to the Sesquicentennial Birthday Celebration of T-ville! Yes, T-ville is 150 years old this year! (Too bad I missed the library history presentations on the town's founding, Native American and African American communities, and the space program.)

The "community picnic" was small and sad-looking, but the people were friendly and cheerful, which pretty much sums up T-ville. ;P
There were only a few food trucks and sponsor stands, plus an improv comedy duo and a sheet cake, but at least the Reel Pit BBQ was tasty and the weather was pleasant. ^^

This "flying pig" greatly amused me. XD
