Ping is back to normal (w/ only sporadic urination problems), and lately she's happy to be pet all over, even her belly! ^_^
Found the 3 kitties grooming each other before a nap (on their own couch for once, instead of on the wrong sofa or the dining table chairs >_>). So sweet and cute! ^_^
She's got the whole world, in her paws~ (Georgie playing with R's globe keychain. ;)
Mom and I just binge-watched BBC's The Musketeers, and it's our new favorite show. it is such a joy. every episode is amazing storytelling with heart, humor, action, adventure, intrigue, romance, chivalry, and camaraderie. and we love all the characters. i can’t even pick a favorite because all 4 Musketeers are charming, courageous, complex, and handsome, in different ways; while all the ladies are beautiful, kickass, and real, with unique stories, personalities, strengths, weaknesses, and so much more than love interests.
the direction/cinematography/coloring is gorgeous, from the lovely costumes and well-choreographed (and well-edited) fight sequences, to the beautiful Czech landscapes and splendorous Prague palaces. it has everything i love about historical fiction: honorable romantic heroes/heroines, affairs of state, affairs of the heart, grounded in history but updated with modern sensibilities, and tied together with emotion, underlined by the A++ music score.
can't wait for Season 3 this year!!
Musketeers has one of my all-time favorite opening credit sequences. i love the design, imagery, and colors and how it matches the dynamic, catchy theme song and adventurous spirit of the show. wish BBC would release the rest of the soundtrack. the show has beautiful and exciting themes.
