R adopted a stray cat near her workplace. The cat, named Hope, was heavily pregnant and gave birth to 6 kittens about a week later. The litter was born on June 28, 2014. (Mom and I were visiting M so we missed that.)
2 days later, they came back from the vet, and I met Mama Cat and Kitties for the first time. Hope was naturally very wary with strangers approaching her but surprisingly chill about us getting near her babies. I expected some hissing and yowling, but she just stared as I took pictures of the adorable little things.
