Renny-Love spent the day in my room, away from the other kitties. After some exploring, napping, and playing, she was surprisingly affectionate with me. She would come and brush against me and purred pretty loudly when I pet her.
It's hard to hear in the video under the camera clicks, but if you turn the volume up, you can catch some of her rumbling purring. ^o^
But once you touch the other cats, she doesn't like you petting or picking her up anymore, especially on her paws or tail. No fighting, but she growls, yowls, and hisses whenever she sees the others. What a princess cat/alpha dog. ;P
She ate a small dinner and sipped just a little water but still hasn't used the litter box yet. Kinda worried about that. Other than that, she's doing fine as long as she's in a room with just us and no other cats.
OH! TOES UPDATE: PNOs adore her already. She had a rough first night, actually pooing in the daughter's bed! D:! But they showed her her own litter box (separate from their 9-year-old cat, Oreo, who tolerates her fine), and she seems to be doing okay now. *crosses fingers and toes for Toes* PNOs had lost their last kitten to leukemia, so Toes is bringing them lots of joy, being very sweet and loving to this new family. And they said she's really happy, too, playing in a room full of toys. It's still early in the trial, but they have already rechristened her Katniss (Catniss?) from The Hunger Games. Let's hope it sticks! :D
