Batman Day 2016

Went to Barnes & Noble for another DC event: Batman Day. Got some coloring pages and a free comic: [DC Rebirth] Batman #1: Batman Day Special Edition. There was a costume contest, a scavenger hunt to search the store for cards with Batman characters on them, and another trivia contest. The trivia was more basic than the last set, plus multiple choice, so it was pretty easy. The questions were just about various Bat characters, and I think the hardest one was like, "What day did The Dark Knight Rises come out in theaters?" or something. While we waited for the prize drawing, Mom and I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino from the B&N Starbucks. It was so yummy and refreshing! After like the 5th winner was selected, we figured the contest was over so we got up to go. On the way to the door, the staff picked my entry and said I'd won a prize! I got a Batman v Superman mini poster set! They're rolled up in a "blind box" package so you can't see which 2 of the 8 designs you get. (I'd actually seen them in the Bargain section last time I was at B&N, so I guess they're trying to get rid of them.) I ended up with a simple BvS logo poster and a movie still of Superman. Not sure where I'm going to put them, or if I'll take them out at all, but yay for free stuff and surprise prizes! ;)
