Sept Library Activity

Daniel is transferring to another branch, so this was the last Upcycle Class w/ him. =( Luckily, the classes will continue w/ someone else! =)

This month's project: light bulb air balloon!

 

The class was full (w/ mostly new faces), so we only made 1, not 2, but as it was harder than expected to glue the pieces in place, I'm glad we had 2 pairs of hands working on it. Thanks to a pretty beaded ribbon Mom found, it turned out quite charming! (I would make the chains shorter and the "basket" smaller in proportion to the balloon, but I'm happy w/ it.) The basket is a fake candle, so it's even cuter. I just need to attach a hook that will hold and figure out where to put it...
