Kitties: 2Y, 3D Old + Ping's Poor Paws

Afternoon nap.

In the evening, R started to give the kitties their monthly flea medicine serum. She finished Ping first and gave her a tasty treat. Then she had to chase down Georgie next and when she bent down to scoop her up, R bumped her head on the counter, stumbled back a step, and accidentally stepped on Ping! D: Ping had followed after R to get more treats and ended up getting hurt, letting out a yowl-yelp of pain and running off. Of course, we were all mortified and apologized profusely (even me and Mom). T_T

Ping was quiet and just sat or lied down on the floor, but she shook her right paw a little, so we guessed R had stepped on that. Ping got back up and still followed R around as she gave Georgie and Oreo their serum and treats, so we assumed she wasn't hurt that badly. I saw her shake her left paw a bit too, but she continued to trot around and later jump on the furniture once in awhile. The only sign was that she mostly lied down on the floor instead of her favorite spot on the couch, and she tucked her paws in more often. We checked on her, tentatively petting her paws, and she didn't flinch, much less attack us like she did the last time we touched her when she was in pain (with the urinary stones). So that's good? =/

I think poor Ping is just sore but will be all right in a few days. *fingers crossed* Poor baby. ;_;
