Heard from another co-worker who might want to adopt one of the kittens. Since Fred and Oreo are spoken for, and R wants Ping and probably Love and Toes, too, only George is left. But R feels she's recently bonded* with George and started crying at the thought of giving him/her away. Hence, lots of pics of George and Ping, who regularly sleeps with R.
*A week ago, we had a scare when 2 of the kittens just disappeared! We looked everywhere but couldn't find George and Love. R suspected that they climbed into a couple of small holes the kittens found in the bottom corners of the kitchen cabinets (we had no idea they were open and kitten-sized!). So she tried to pry them out, but nothing happened and we didn't hear a peep from them. R searched for half an hour and burst into tears. Finally, after another half hour, George and Love popped out, no worse for wear. We were all so relieved. Since then, R says George has been very well-behaved, after its harrowing experience "lost in the wood" (cabinet). ;P
