Mega-Con: Part 3 - Showroom (p1) & Cinema

Finally found the Showroom with Artist Alley (saw some recognizable names), Star Signing (didn't go to that section), and all the vendors (movies, tv, comics, anime, games, costumes, weapons, jewelry, everything). It was pretty packed, warm, and hard to navigate, and there were so many booths to see and not enough time to see it all unfortunately, but it was still really great.

More cool cosplay...

At the Art of Cinema panel (2:45-3:35) with Jimmy Palmiotti, Darwyn Cooke, and Bob Layton.
Creators: Jimmy Palmiotti, Bob Layton, & Darwyn Cooke
Pretty intimate and interesting Q&A about creating comics and adapting them to animation or film. Lots of useful advice, entertaining anecdotes, and funny quips.

I wrote a recap of the panel here. The highlights were Palmiotti hoarding bottled water (causing the California drought), Cooke's impression of Bruce Timm and love of Pokemon, and Layton dissing Hollywood and comparing himself to a pimp for Huntress. XD;

to be continued...
