Dec. 1: Upcycling class - paper wreath, made w/ old books (poetry, hymns, & English satire novels), Dollar Tree ornaments & garlands, cardboard & tongue-pressers, & hot glue gun. Mine (L) uses the satire pages & Mom's (R) has a mix. I'm very happy w/ how mine turned out. ^^
Dec. 5: Holiday Cooking w/
Chef Warren Caterson, author of
Table for Two cookbooks. Demo & tips for easy & versatile appetizers (toasted baguette slices w/ ricotta cheese & savory/sweet toppings) and Loo'd Chicken (similar to 3-cup chicken w/ Chinese master sauce). Simple recipes (samples were just fair), but it was a fun experience.
