Heard a hacking cat cough and assumed it was Mammao, but then R yelled, "Oh, no! Oreo threw up!" Went to check and sure enough, Oreo had apparently projectile vomited a sizable brown puddle that soaked 1/4 of their sleeping area and 1/2 a foot outside their pen. o_0
Opened the door and Ping and Georgie leaped over the mess, but Oreo wouldn't come out. We had to coax him out before he tentatively hopped over. We noted she was more subdued and let us hold her for much longer than normal. Aww, poor Oreo was obviously not feeling well. T_T
After cleaning up the mess and coddling Oreo for awhile, I filled their food bowl. All the cats, including Oreo, rushed to the food, but Oreo just stopped and looked at the others eating. She slowly ate a few pieces of dropped kibble but only about a dozen. She didn't run or jump around like usual, just walked around or was carried.
Not sure what was wrong with her. She probably ate something off the floor she shouldn't have, or maybe she's not good at hacking up furballs yet? Anyway, we gave her plenty of TLC, and a few hours later, she had more energy and a bit of appetite back.
Update: Oreo seems pretty much back to normal the next day. Hope Oreo learns not to eat every dirty thing she spots. ^^;
