Kiwis in Orange County - Part 1

Oct. 14-23

Played host for relatives visiting us all the way from New Zealand. Dad hadn't seen his younger brother in over 30 years! So nice to finally meet Uncle T, Aunt A, and cousin B. They are lovely people, and we had fun spending time together.

Oct. 14-16

They brought us local NZ gifts: wool hat and scarf for Dad; jewelry sets for Mom, M, R, and me; super soft sheep wool pillow/mat; famous super-food Manuka honey, green tea, and chocolate!

Similarly, we had prepared jewelry, polo shirt, Mickey Mouse wallet, novelty candle, and American ginseng for them, plus treated them to local eats, like oranges, country food, Caribbean food, seafood, and key lime pie.

Drove to Orlando. Westgate Villas was beautiful. Our suite was huge.

Mom, Dad, and I stayed in this room.

I was very amused by this random sink in the side of the staircase to the loft. The bathroom and kitchen sinks are really close and have more counter space. To be fair, though, we did use it once in awhile when the others were being used, so it's kinda useful.

Towel butterfly at the kitchen sink when we came in.
